Leave Torquay following the signs for Teignmouth, once on the A379 the road climbs up the hill passing Watcombe Heights Road on the right and Brunel Manor on the left. Follow the road around the bends through the trees and past the English House Restaurant on the left, Ridge road is now the second on the left. Leave Teignmouth following the signs to Torquay, go over the Shaldon Bridge and proceed along the A379. From Newton Abbot

At the Penn Inn round about take the road for Millber, take the first right immediately after the traffic lights (Following the signs for Plant World), this is St Marychurch Rd. Follow this road for about two and half miles, you will pass a left turn sign posted to Rocombe, take the next left, this is Claddon lane (there are no signs) follow on until the lane meets the main road turn left and left again onto Ridge road.
